私わたしの町まちは、秋あきのおまつりで有ゆう名めいだ。このおまつりは、こめや野や菜さいがたくさんできたことをよろこぶもので、毎まい年とし10月つきに行おこなわれる。

この日ひ、町まちの男おとこの人ひとは水みずをあびて白しろい服ふくを着きる。そして、山やまの上うえの神じん社じゃまで走はしる。いちばん先さきに神じん社じゃについた人ひとがいちばん強つよい男おとこの人ひとだ。いちばんになろうとして、みんな一生懸命いっしょうけんめい走はしる。さいがのひとがじんじゃに着ついてから、みんなでお酒さけを飲のんで、特とく別べつな野や菜さい料りょう理りを食たべる。みんなたくさん食たべるから、女おんなの人ひとは前まえの日ひの夜よるからねないで野や菜さい料りょう理りを作つくる。

おまつりの日ひには町まちじゅうの子こどもたちがじんじゃに集あつまって、大人おとなと、いっしょに楽たのしむ。歌うたやおどりが上じょう手ずな子こどもが、みんなの前まえで歌うたったりおどったりする。この子こどもたちは2か月げつ前まえにえらばれて、毎まい日にちれんしゅうするので、歌うたもおどりもとてもりっぱだ。
