みどり公こう園えんは、広ひろさが20万まん平へい方ほうメートルあり、丸まる山やま市しで最もっとも大おおきい公こう園えんである。公こう園えんの半はん分ぶん以い上じょうが芝しば生ふになっていて、たくさんの桜さくらの木きが植うえられているので、花はな見みの場ば所しょとしても有ゆう名めいだ。公こう園えん内ないには大だい小しょうの二ふたつの池いけがあり、その周まわりにはこの土と地ちに昔むかしからある木きや草くさが植うえられている。市しの中ちゅう心しん部ぶにあるのに静しずかで、郊こう外がいへピクニックに出でかけたような気き分ぶんになれるので、休きゅう日じつには多おおくの人ひとびとが公こう園えんに来くる。
